Good quality dampeners
I purchased 4 of these dampeners for my studio. Just as some extra acoustic material that’s easily manipulated to control reverberation in my booth and control room. They are very good quality and durable. Also machine washable which is a huge plus.

Works well for room reflections!
I use a studio mic for live streaming at my desk which is right in front of a bare plaster wall. This was causing audible sound reflections in my room, so I bought this to reduce the reflections off of that wall. It works out very well. *** THIS IS NOT A SOUNDPROOFING BLANKET *** Soundproofing requires much more elaborate measures. The quality of construction is just fine for me. There are a couple loose threads/thread ends, but not concerned about that. It's hung on the wall using a series of coat hooks across the top edge. The weight of this blanket is substantial. Much heavier than I was expecting. Great value for the price. *** RECOMMEND ***

These are to dampen sound reflections in your room. The do NOT eliminate sound.
If you expect these or any \"blanket\" to soundproof a room, you're missing the point of what these are meant to do. If your room is too lively, or you hear a slight echo or hollowness when recording, these, set up properly, will HELP eliminate that slap back and HELP dampen a lively room. Soundproofing is a totally different animal. Look elsewhere.

I had no idea about weights or details of moving blankets. After researching and reading reviews I knew I wanted heavy ones for my good furniture. I came across this company and brand which certainly didn't disappoint. The blankets are very heavy professional ones. Very well made. They will last my lifetime anyway. I'll pass them to my moving around kids. You get what you pay for. I got more than I anticipated, but that's okay. Blankets are cheaper than furniture.
