This is the first cutter I have owned and used. I used it while installing luxury vinyl flooring in my utility room. It is well-made and sturdy. I found the supporting arm awkward - I had to adjust it when making long or notch cuts. Being able to make long cuts and notch cuts is a nice feature. I struggled with knowing exactly where the blade would cut - there was no clear marker for this, and I had to eyeball each time. It was tough to ensure the cut was straight from start to finish when making long cuts. This does the job - I would be interested in trying another style cutter and comparing them.

Great cutter worth the price, used it to cut my flooring with no issues, loves the way it packs away for storeage, did sit it on a mat so it would not slip on the floor while cutting flooring the guides to cut in straight line are a great help would recommend.

It was a relief when the shipment arrived and I felt the heft of the box. I was worried this cutter was going to be lightweight and not stand the test of our 1300 sf flooring project. It worked beautifully throughout our two-day long project. The cuts were perfect on 8mm thick vinyl planks and even the 3-dimensional trim pieces. One reason I purchased this product was because it came with a sharpening blade. We never even had to use the sharpening stone. And then there is the price; it couldn't be beaten!
