Can the heating temperature setting go as low as 25 -30C e.g. if room temp is 15 C can it warm and then hold 25C to 30C? I wish to stir and keep warm growing yeast cultures which, if it gets too warm, grow poorly or die.

Hello, if the room temperature is 15 degrees, it is ok. The temperature of the magnetic stirrer plate will be higher than the room temperature, so it depends on the room temperature.

i just want to gently warm my solution, it says temp starts at 50c, and i only want 30c does this machine temp warm up from 0c

Could you please send the instruction manual? I am curious what kind of thermoprobe (e.g. PT100, PT1000, etc.) it uses because I own one already and want to buy a more chemically resistant probe for it.

The sensors on the furnace plate are K-type, and the sensors inserted externally are Pt100. No complaints. Great value. I primarily use the mixing feature. It works great for thoroughly mixing cerakote prior to spraying. The heated plate has worked well every time I've needed it. I do not use the heated plate for anything requiring precise and accurate temperatures, thus I have not measured the temp while in use.

It heats up gradually but eventually gets water to a simmer. I mostly use it for gradually cooling agar in a media bottle.
