Hi, what is the type of end on the keyed chuck (morse taper)? If a morse taper does the unit come with an adapter to accept weldon cutters? Do you have any other magnetic base drills with the keyed chuck AND weldon socket? If yes - please advise their model numbers. Thank you.

The chuck model is 13mm B16. Remove the collet to install the weld shank.

This thing is the bomb especially when compared to the name brands that cost an arm and a leg. It works perfectly, built very well and works without a hiccup. I used twice this week on a jobsite to expands some ragged mounting holes, the bits are great also.

This mag drill was my best tool purchase in 2024! I drilled 300 5/8” holes in a 1/2” thick welding fab table. The annular cutters I purchased not so great. The 5/8” cutter broke after 10 holes. Cleveland Steel Tool Company sells incredible annular cutters. Mag Drill: yes Annular cutters: not recommended
