Should have get it earlier!
I am obsessed! As accountant creator, I should have got this way earlier. Makes a recording so much easy and efficient. This design is easy to set up. The ape that came along was also very easy to use. You need to get yourself a standing tripod and that’s all. I use an iPad Pro 12 inches and it works perfectly with this

This isn't ideal for smartphones as the camera, but it does work.
This thing is sturdy AF. It works perfectly. Im not a fan of the software that comes with it but its good enough. I do think the they could have added an adapter for using a smartphone as a camera.

Must Have For Anyone Serious About Their Productions
This is a wonderful tool for laying down spoken word audio tracks on video content for your social media videos. For some reason I am unable to read text from paper while doing the audio tracks for content. The lines blend together and I lose my place. Then I get frustrated and then have to re-do parts of the track because it sounded wrong for the overall tone of the video.

Teleprompter is Good, But App Will Not Work Properly For Me
I like most of the features on this teleprompter, but some of the extras are not as good as they could be. First, the base of the teleprompter is a good quality metal with good finish. All the hardware on the unit works well. The glass is one way glass and my camera had no issues videoing through it. I didn’t notice any lighting issues and I didn’t have to adjust the camera. The hood is great and it is not a “sack” like some teleprompters. It is rigid except for the portion that goes over the lens. This is great because I don’t have to worry about getting fabric in my frame. I like that I can use a large tablet in the tray. The glass is easy to read. One thing I didn’t like about the teleprompter is the extra piece for mounting a camera. It is made of rigid plastic and seems kind of cheap.

Fun entry level - The app does work
I did not have huge expectations, but I was worried when I downloaded the app and it did not seem to work in landscape which is needed for a teleprompter. But came to find that once you load the text, there is a function that turns it to landscape and mirror. The app works enough and I found you just need to play around with it to get the right speed and font size. I am using an old 10 inch Lenovo tablet and so far it has been great. I can see the screen clearly and no ghosting.

Not bad
This is really not bad for an entry level prompter or one that will only be used very occasionally. The construction is pretty decent, with nearly all parts made of metal. The prompter comes in a padded zipper case. Unfortunately, the padding is the type of foam that is usually comes in a cardboard box holding your purchase and disposed of right afterwards. The case itself is fabric, but its still better than nothing. The glass is pretty clear and it wasn't too difficult to mount the prompter to my tripod and then centering my camera on the prompter plate.

Entry level teleprompter that works
This is entry level Teleprompter that actually works. Need to download an App from App Store called S-Teleprompter. The included bluetooth remote control need 2 AAA batteries (not included), after pairing it ready to go.

Cheap, but not necessarily bad
This is one of the more inexpensive teleprompters and you can certainly tell by the construction. It uses stamped metal pieces it is lighter and it definitely has a fit and finish it feels far from premium. However I noticed that because it’s so cheap it’s actually a lot easier to use. It’s lighter. It has fewer parts but still all of the adjustments that you need and it’s relatively straightforward. I have a very expensive teleprompters that are practically impossible to put together without referencing the instructions. This thing has very few parts and it is clearly intuitive how it works and it does all of the necessary functions of a Teleprompter. The glass may not be quite as premium. I think it has 71% transmission instead of 75% for the nicer models so you have to open up your aperture a little bit.

Works OK
This is a basic compact teleprompter that is easy to set up. The frame is made from stamped steel, so the build quality is just average. it's pretty easy to adjust the height and position of the camera. Assembly just requires you to mount the glass frame with a single thumbscrew, and attach the hood with the Velcro strips.
