In a previous questions and answer the laser spot size was said to be 6mm. This seems massive! And I assume it's a typo. I just wanted to double check what the laser spot size is
It can engrave and cut non-metallic materials. If you want to install an external water cooler, you can connect the laser tube directly with the water pipe.
I had several laser engraver machines, but this is the first co2 laser I bought from VEVOR. The machine is reasonably priced and I don't have to align the laser beam as others mentioned. Only problem I had was the software needed to run with the machine driver (Corel draw) which I don't have. Contacted the company back and ford about the problem, they sent me some refund to buy the software for the machine. Vevor, thank you for your understanding and service.
The key switch stop working.I have to shut the machine off With the emergency shut down button.

It came in nice shipping shipping team was very helpful getting it into my garage…The issues came upon setup there was no installation software with the machine I have to purchase a copy of lightburn so could get the machine to work but I still do no have the drivers from the manufacturer for the machine after getting lightburn to work the y axis kept getting stuck after hours of troubleshooting I noticed a wire was loose from the factory once I tightened it the machine is now working properly the machine has great potential Buyers just really need to look everything over very carefully the air assist is seemingly weak at best you will definitely need to upgrade it at some point but for now it works I can engrave clear glass and acrylic now!!!
The exhaust tube goes IN the machine! It’s more like a filter tube. So the reviewer who said it falls of, well duh you’re not supposed to put it somewhere on the outside. Second, every CO2 laser engraver needs its mirrors adjusted after you receive it. It’s impossible to do this in the factory and then ship it. You have to calibrate it yourself, which is not hard, but you have to do it. Don’t buy something you know nothing about and then complain.

Average quality components, no response from vevor support but kind of to be expected for cheap chinese product. Overall think it's a great little unit that works really well for it's price point. The seller was quick to ship and provided prompt and satisfactory resolution for a damaged power cable. The instructions poorly detail initial setup and give no useful specifications or general use instructions so be prepared to investigate and experiment. I am happy and think I got value for money but if you want a supported machine you best save up at least twice as much coin.
I REALLY wanted to like this laser. On paper, it has all the feature I'm looking for at a great price. There's one problem: THERE IS NO SUPPORT!!!! The user's manual is less than worthless. It only has superficial information like "put water in, turn it on". Any technical support questions take at least 4-5 days to reply. When you ask the Chat support ANYTHING, they simply send you the SAME WORTHLESS manual in PDF format!
I should have save my money and bought a more established brand that provides basic support in under a week. In English!
Great laser, great pricing, to my surprise - absolutely amazing support! Obviously, not native English speakers, but this caused no issue whatsoever. They immediately identified my problem from my description and video, then responded with a description, a video and picture that showed the exact issue and how to resolve. Laser is excellent quality, needed mirror adjustment and cleaning, but these are minor things - and honestly standard. My only complaint, and I mean only complaint, is that it doesn’t work with LightBurn. I could change the controller, cheap and my total cost would still be less than any other machine I’ve found!
Excellent quality and price, I highly recommend to anyone looking for a K40 laser!
