Hi, Does this version of the machine support Lightburn, some of the videos say you need a different controller for lightburn than this one has. Does it have Electric power assisted Z lift bed ? I see from the pictures it shows the button on the side to raise and lower but the discription says.. This machine does not have Z-axis lifting and auto-focusing functions so i am confused. Lightburn is supported, and the controller is Ruida6442G. The z-axis is electrically raised and lowered but does not support autofocus.

What thickens acrylic sheet can it cut through

A 50W laser tube can generally cut within 5mm. The wattage of the laser tube is too small. For density board, it is within 2mm.

Hi I’m looking for a machine to cut cake toppers etc - does this machine do that - cut 10mm acrylic etc and do I need to have it garaged or can I put it on a desk inside the house on a spare room?

Better than expected.
This is our first laser cutter so our comments are based on no experience with any other. The machine arrived in a timely manner, very well packed in a timber crate and undamaged. Once unpacked and set up it worked from the start with no equipment problems apparent. We have been using it for 2 weeks now, a process that has been, an continues to be a learning experience. The manuals provided are of limited use, but great help and support is available on line through YouTube and Facebook user groups. The more we learn, with the help of these resources, the better the results we are acheiving. Perhaps one day this will allow us to invest in a more capable machine if necessary.
