Just like a previous review, I was renting a splicer as needed and paying over a $1000 for a month. Although it is not as fancy as the 15000.00 splicers, this splicer performed very well. I would recommend this for any company wanting to splice fiber. What they don't show you in the pictures is that it also comes with a nice case.

I can’t believe how well this splicer works. I work for a Communications company and we’ve been renting a fusion splicer for around 1k a week, I’ve been looking at these off brand splicers for a while and finally pulled the trigger on purchasing one. The 1st job I used it on was over 150 splices and all I can say is,wow!Out of 150 splices, I only had 1 strand fail. I’m definitely going to purchase a second one.

I purchased this and I have to admit I was very pleasantly surprised by the functionality of the device the splice speed is fast and precise. The splices are low loss and I like the ability to switch from auto to manual splicing in memory. This was one of my best buys.

For the price, i was very impressed at how well it worked.

I haven't owned this machine very long so i can't say how durable it is but it was fast and accurate. I was able to get back online quickly. I would recommend this machine for a inexpensive fast repair.
