Un côté plat, un côté avec des rayures, c'est parfait. Je l'utilise directement sur les feux gaz de la gazinière (ou la plaque) sachant qu'à la première utilisation j'ai fait chauffer doucement de l'huile de tournesol sur les deux faces pour culoter légèrement la fonte. Ils marquent que c'est déjà fait cependant le film de gras que l'industrie laisse pour traverser les océans en conteneurs n'est pas forcément alimentaire en tous cas pas pour moi. On n'est jamais si bien servi que par soi-même ! Dès que ça fume on éteint tout et on laisse refroidir jusqu'à manipulation à la main pour sécher à l'essui-tout. Jamais de produit vaisselle, une paille de fer avec de l'eau chaude et ce sera tout !
Pros: Works and fits on my gas cooktop. The build quality is sturdy and grills steaks as it is meant to do. Cons,: I bought this to cook steaks. Compared to a pan it makes less of a mess but cleanup is bad. It is heavy too. The steaks will stick and make a little mess so you will have to figure out how to clean it quickly. However it protects from splatter.
Fantastic use for electric stove coil burner covers
I purchased two griddles to place on top of my apartment size electric stove coil burners. I needed something to place on top after cooking because the coils stay hot and I wanted to prevent accidental skin burns. These are perfect. Since they are cast iron, it takes awhile for these to heat up. They may get warm, but not scorching hot. They also add needed counter space on top of my stove.
Great little griddle for pancakes, bacon etc..I even used it to grill steaks indoors. I just put over the gas burner on my stove. Easy to use on a bbq or stove top. Non stick too!
El producto corresponde con la descripción y las medidas y se aprecia de buena calidad. Pesa alrededor de 4kg y parece muy resistente. En mi caso la he tenido que pedir 2 veces pues la primera llegó dañada con un pequeño impacto (probablemente algún golpe durante el transporte). No lo considero algo negativo pues la devolución fue sencilla, entregando el paquete en correos sin coste y el reembolso fue muy rápido. La segunda plancha llegó en perfecto estado.
To all the negative reviews, cast iron needs nurturing, with curing and taking care cleaning and curing, again. I have had this for months now, and can have grilled steak (and as pictured, fish) in a NYC apartment. For the price, it is solid.
