Seems to be quality. Just got it installed today, but I ended up using a different switch solenoid box. The one this comes with has gaps all over it for water and dirt to get in. It just seemed really chincy and cheap. Operation of winch seems good and it seems built to hold up. Other than the chincy control box it seems good to go.

Neutral (freespool) was not working out of the box. We used it for a few months and it quit working altogether. The year warranty has proven to be an adventure. Vevor offered me 30 bucks, then about half, then finally, they made good on j the warranty (although I'm still not paid). Don't rely on this winch. We were using it lightly, and far below it's raing when it failed.
