Okay, I did not shop to much so not the products fault so I did not deduct any stars. However, Vevor has a verticle unit where you pull down on the handle instead of pulling it sideways, and I believe it has multiple slicer plates which would be nice. No doubt about it this slicer save time, a LOT of time. We freeze dry jalapenos, pears, and process onions, tomatoes, squash, cucumbers from the garden. This machine when you need it is well worth the money. I just wish I had the verticle model with multiple plates that would give us some choices on slice size.
If you are going to buy, go ahead and spend a bit more and you can thank me if you ever use the sideways version, LOL.
