DO NOT buy this product. It came damaged and the Vevor customer service team would not help me at all. They eventually just ignored my emails asking them to help. I will never buy another Vevor product again and you shouldn’t either

Just okay
When putting this together, four of the rivets with threads broke loose and I had to replace them with new rivets. It was difficult to line up the rivets with the bolts. Recommend stronger welds.

Good bang for the buck
I should have purchased this a long time ago. What a work saver and it spreads compost so evenly its amazing. I broadcast lawn seed, then use this for one pass with compost, and the seeds have no trouble germinating under that perfect spread.

Very well built, glad I got the original version before it was too late!
I saw the 2.0 version was a lot cheaper, so I'm sure certain things were changed to make save weight for lower cost shipping. I like how this has the stainless t-bar handle and heavy gauge steel mount. Spreads compost very well (but also very fast). I'll need a lot more bags this year.

No more renting a compost spreader
During rye overseeding in the fall, I had to rent a compost spreader to spread peat moss. Now I have my own spreader, and I am very happy about that. The only thing that was unexpected about the spreader was that I had to assemble it. I was expecting to receive the spreader drum and I only needed to attach a handle to the drum. Instead, I had to assemble the drum which took some time, and the holes did not line up to insert the bolts. Other than that, the spread is fine. I have already used the spreader to spread peat moss, and it works just as well the spreader I have rented.
