Brilliant product at this price point imv. I've had this a week or so , and finally tried it out today on a small area that needed routing, using the plunge feature, very impressive. -- Recommendation; Don't try to use this small router on heavy projects, try to use it as intended, and something I hadn't considered is that you don't just plunge in like an inch or so and go for it, take anywhere from a 1/4'' / 6mm + - at a time , in fact they tell me to do the same for bigger routers, saves bits, produces better cuts, and saves the router. Also, when I turned on the router this am, I was at first disturbed that it spun so slowly lol well it was on low speed, so don't forget that it does have the variable speed selector, right above the on/off switch. -- Sad part; 1 The cord comes wadded up in the typical figure at, where there is absolutely never an excuse for that, there is always room for a neat round coil. The cord will always be kinked it's entire length, catch on things and look terrible. 2. The threaded rod-stop is a pretty sloppy fit, but it should not actually interfere with accuracy in cuts as best I can surmise. I actually ordered a second one, on return status with the first thinking that the slop might be better in another one, it was the same, so I'll just live with it, and of note I think is that the horizontal lock in screw that holds the stop-rod in place also has a button when loosened up that you can press and freely slide the rod up or down all the way in either direction, great feature. Overall, this router looks fantastic, the general fit and finish is very nice with the exception of the mentioned item, even though I have about 1.5 mins on this router so far, I'm really excited to have it, and am looking forward to using it more.
