My son recently got a room upgrade, complete with a cool loft bed. All it was missing was a place to display his art work. I had trouble finding a cork board that would fit the space we had; most weren't big enough. But this VEVOR cork board is a very close fit. For the primary display side, under his loft bed, it's awesome as-is. On the back side, since there's no cork and just fiberboard, I'm going to have to get creative. It's not meant to be used on both sides like we're doing, but we'll make it work!
My husband had to improvise mounting a bit, in order to mount the cork board on the bunk frame. He had to drill through the cork board's frame, which was not a particularly easy task. He said it's pretty well-made and *very* sturdy.
The fiberboard backing is nice and thick, so the board doesn't flex much when my son tacks things up. This is good, since there's no wall behind it! I'm really happy it seems sturdy enough to withstand his brute force approach to push pins 😆
I'm really pleased with this item and my son is THRILLED with it. He's so excited to have a big spot to display all his art. This was a home run for us! Highly recommend.
