IT REALLY DOES GRIND DRILLS ...
I purchased this T&C Grinder after attempting to make one DIY. The price was within My budget and it was delivered promptly. The User manual was a Useless Manual. It was another example of what the Chinese need to do better . I tried to draw upon the internet and YouTube to get some clues to how to use the machine. This was helpful to some extent, but I was still unable to grind a Twist Drill on the supplied attachment. I eventually worked out the procedure using fundamental engineering and logic. AS FOLLOWS:- This may help others ... I took a new Drill, and set the axis so the new drill just touched the grinder face. I advanced the wheel to take a very small skim off the drill. I then decided if the settings were OK, if not I would decide what axis needed fine adjustment. By successive steps, I arrived at the correct settings. I took notes as to what the setting numbers were, plus made permanent marks on the castings so if the Index scaled were moved, I could reset to the permanent reference. I am very pleased with the machine. Looking forward to attacking the Milling cutters next.

The best quality of Chinese made equipment
I have had a few Chinese made machine tools (lathe, mills etc.) ?over the years but this is by far the best quality machine of them all. I was very pleasantly surprised.

As advertised, except the metal locking handles in the photographs turned out to be plastic. Small thing, I know, but would have been nice. Otherwise delivered in good order and works well.
