It worked perfectly! I did have to read the directions a couple of times to get it, but that's just me.

If you have a older boat that been in salt water, don't hesitate just buy this type tool. Spend the money or you will have major frustrations removing the gimbal bearing with a slid-hammer. If your bellows has water, rust or corrosion this will make life a lot easier.

Works very well, the first installation tool I purchased was junk, and the first bearing I removed with a slide hammer was a mess and I ended up grinding the bearing out. This tool removed the other bearing the junk tool installed (damaged bearing) with no problem. You do need to drill a hole for bearing placement and I wish they would make a few holes for different install lengths but the installation goes perfect.

Worked perfect. Had the option of renting one from the dealer for $100, so took this option.

Vevor? Yes, I have had positive opinion about Vevor products I've been using so far. This one is no exception. Perfectly fits my Volvo Penta SX-M without any DIY. Slight signs of previous usage, but it does not affect my objectives.

For the price this thing is awesome heavy duty, I was expecting something light flimsy. Not the case , worked great. Keep in mind with this product you have to drill a hole in alignment shaft for the other piece that come in kit. The circle piece that keeps bearing straight when installing. I hope I'm explaining that clear. I was in a where of that but no big deal .

i had my boat since 1989 new...this is the first time i replaced the gimbal bearing. it was about welded in there, wow...good thing i always keep my 19 foot bayliner Cuddy in the garage..otherwise i doubt that bearing would of been able to come out after all these years. as i tightened the removal tool there was immense pressure building up and then a loud crack and she broke free...after that loud crack the device began turning easily and soon had the bearing pulled out; to my relief. that loud crack was very alarming to say the least. the installation was effortless in comparison. just make sure you align that grease hole on the right side of the bearing, with the inlet grease tube on the right side of the outdrive housing. tap and pound it in slowly and check for alignment as you go is all. strong sturdy excellently built tool..worth every dime.

good quality, works as expected pulled my gimble bearing with ease, had to use a slide pipe to install gimble bearing as i didnt watnt to drill a hole in the installer
