When friends gather (very rural, Sonoran Desert) the grill works great over a wood fire under the stars. On a daily basis, it's used for burning paper trash, preventing flaming bits from escaping. A fuller explanation is that this grill is centered in a shovel-dug \"conversation pit\". '2 steps down, with a ring of seating for 8 … you get the picture? Somewhat protected by wind, in a low moisture environment. When we leave for summer, the grill will be stored indoors. If it holds up for a few years, 4 stars will be upgraded to 5.
