While this is technically portable (has a handle and folds), it is not easily portable. It's heavy. But, then again, you wouldn't want it light and not sturdy. So, I think it is an appropriate weight. I like that it folds for easier carrying. It also has a metal pin to keep it closed. It's 6 feet long, so when not in use, you'll need to think about where to store it. The only bad thing about it, is that if you are in a situation where it needs to be unfolded through a door, it may be too wide. We have some stairs that lead to another door and it was too long to use there. But, for any normal application it works well.

Great for travels when visiting family or friends whose homes are not wheelchair accessible. I really like that the ramp can be folded and stored when not in use , the handle to carry was also a big plus. I was not a fan of how the center hinge was not flush to the height of the deck, wife tripped on this, definitely designed for wheelchair and not walking on. Please note ADA Guidelines are 12 inches of ramp per 1 inch in height. While I choose this tramp based on the product guides I found it difficult to push the incline even with my upper body strength which is very good. In my opinion the ramp should also have a means of being able to lock itself into place even temporary

We have a floating office and have regular deliveries that need to be rolled on board with a dolly or other type of hand-truck. The gap can be difficult, so this is a great solution. It folds up nicely when not needed. Yes, it's heavy, but not remarkably heavy considering the size and weight capacity. The non-skid surface material really adds to the safety - especially in a marine environment. We've also found it useful for those times when someone elderly or unsure on their feet needs to \"come aboard\". When the water level is low, it's an essential addition to our operation.

These portable ramps are great. I bought them not for wheelchairs but for other things around my house, like loading lawn equipment in my truck. They are lightweight yet study enough for up to 800#. The non-slip surface is very helpful.

I ordered this so I could have a wheelchair ramp at my house when friends come over. For a 6 ft ramp this is relatively light weight, but if you are moving at a distance you may need assistance. It seems relatively stable and the quality fit and finish of this is good. I have not tried to carry it in my car yet, we will see if it fits behind my seats.

I am reviewing the 6' version. 205lbs man standing in the middle causes deflection of about 1/2 inch. Bouncing a little on it causes it to deflect almost 1\". The issue that I have with this ramp is that there are only two hinges on either end. The two sides are not connected at the center of the ramp. This causes the two pieces to bend independently. I suppose that is fine if you are primarily using this with a wheelchair. I wanted to use this as a utility ramp to roll heavy items onto my trailer. If you have a wheel on each ramp and your load shifts or is heavier on one side the ramp on that side will bend more and the lighter side will bend less. This bending could cause further leaning of the item you are carrying which would cause more bending. It would have been much better if they had welded a third hinge in the center to help tie the two ramps together. The upper end of the ramp had some damage due to shipping. This left a little burr on the corner. When I laid the ramp on my tiled porch the aluminum burr left marks. I'm going to file/grind that down and put rubber material on the bottom side of that lip so it does not mar surfaces and so it does not slip or move. The anti slip coating is very effective. It folds up easily and the integrated carry handle is convenient.

I love that this ramp folds in half and has a carrying handle. Much lighter than I expected. It does bounce a little when walked on, but it is sturdy and supports up to 800 pounds, so far between my husband, son, and wheelchair almost 600 pounds was supported easily. The sides have an edge barrier with a reflective security yellow and black strip the entire length on both sides. The edge barrier will keep the wheelchair from falling off the ramp. It gives plenty of space to push a wheelchair up the ramp. You need to balance the wheelchair between the ramps as you would using any ramp. There is a lip at the top to rest on a flat surface but the bottom doesn't have a lip which has not affected its use. The nonslip surface material gives plenty of friction. The step where I am using this is only one step that is about 6 inches from the ground so the ramp isn't at a steep angle but you could use this at a steeper angle.
