I bought a new art desk and decided that this time I'll be smart and buy a protective cover for when I'm working with messy media such as paint. It was easy to trim it to size with sharp scissors. It's nice and thick and heavy. The plastic smell fades quickly or you can wash it as stated in the instructions. Also stated in the instructions is the fact that this will YELLOW IN THE SUN. My art room is also my indoor garden and has a south facing window. Not sure how long it will take to yellow, but I'm not impressed that this will happen. Keep that in mind if you are planning to purchase this. In most homes where such an item would be used, ie. the living room or dinning room; usually have windows, and windows let the sun in... not impressed about that.

Bought this to protect a wood 36x72” table. Comes rolled up but lays flat almost immediately. Slightly longer than 72 but cuts easily with scissors. My only negative is after being in place for two weeks, it still has rippling of the vinyl on the sides so that it isn’t completely flat. Putting weighted objects on the buckling helps. May take more time. Still it’s great for the purpose intended. Don’t expect perfection.

This was a great purchase as a table cover for my table / desk. I'm a nail tech and I used this to cover my nail station table to protect it from unforseen accidental spills and it's perfect. Definitely would recommend.
