Drilled through 1/4" steel plate works very well for the money I honestly was surprised as I'm use to buying either Milwaukee or DeWalt products I just don't use mag drills enough to justify spending $700-$1200 for a drill. The magnet is strong but you need to give it a few seconds to really work well so be careful if it's hanging on plate.But this drill did what it was suppose to do with no problems.

The bits get stuck in the drive portion and I have to use vice grips and a hammer to remove them. The drill does have plenty of power for a 120 volt and it is a solid straight drive when drilling. I have used it to drill close to 50 holes thru 1" thick steel plate A36. Good deal for $330.00

This drill works great. I drilled through my semi frame in about 15 seconds. It works great. I didn’t have to spend allot of money, and far exceeded my expectations for sure. Williston, ND. MLG

First unit had a bent arbor, so run the tool before discarding the shipping materials!Second tool was true, did a fine job with a 3/4" bit going through 1" material.

On to the job now

Works great for drilling steel 1/4* and up. The oiler that comes with it is alright for vertical drilling . Other than not having a safety switch on the magnet it's a great buy .

I have used this mag drill for several projects in my shop, using a set of annular bits it will make some clean cuts fast, and magnet is very strong. I have many more projects in mind for using it.

I usually don't buy off brands for my shop but did not want to pay 1000 dollars foe a good name brand. Had to drill over 100 holes in large 1/2 inch thick steel plates and it held up real well my only fear was it would fail in the middle of the job making us look bad. it held up good great value

Easy to use. Used to drill hole in angle iron.

The drill is overall what I expected, works great for boring holes in thick metal, the magnet is very strong as well, all I need now is more boring bits. Thanks
