Used once. Worked very well. attached a cordless drill instead of using the hand crank. Only downside was that the gate does not drain the lower 1 gallon or so of honey without tipping it. I ended up supporting it upside down to drain all the honey before letting the bees thoroughly clean it.

Decent unit. For a small-time beekeeper like me (2 colonies, 5-15 gallons per season) it's fine. The lid pieces are poorly designed and could be better engineered, as they don't fit snugly or securely. I used my bench grinder to remove about half the material on the plastic lid retainers so they no longer make contact with spinning frames. I wish the unit held more honey before the bottoms of the frames start making contact with the honey, which means you have to stop everything and dump a couple gallons before you can resume spinning. It's great to preserve the comb so the bees don't have as much work to do when I eventually get these back into a hive. I need to put some recessed nuts in my shed floor so I have a more secure unit, but even using it freestanding isn't bad as long as your load is balanced. All in all, a good unit.

Great product for the price point. Super easy to assemble and disassemble. I kept the package for future storage. Only critique is that the lids aren’t secured to the frame; they just sit on the top.

Assembly was easy. The only issue is the plexiglass lids do not have hinges and will not work with the screw pegs.The pegs will hit the rotating basket. I used duct tape to hinge them in place and it works fine. Other than that it works awesome.

This was purchased for our son who is a new beekeeper. He liked the quality of this and was looking forward to using it.

The extractor is great if you don't mind manual cranking, which was easy for this 68 year old. We did 10 frames and will have more to do in a week or two.The only thing that I had a problem with was honey comb frame would end woulld hit the protruding plastic lid support. I didn't get a chance to see if it was a minor adjustment I can make.

My frames were slamming against the crank assembly so.. I had to cut about a half inch off of the shaft on the basket assembly (lowering the basket to make more room at the top). Now, it works.
