This was purchased as an updated toilet for my 95 year old mother... Upon receiving it she stated that it was good quality, sturdy and she was very impressed with the wider than usual toilet seat. It's a winner!

i started to buy a cheaper one that had the plastic seat, then I read several reviews about the seats not fitting right. I found this one with the padded seat that lifts up and down, so easy and the seat is going to be way better than the hard plastic. height is adjustable, even has a place for a roll of toilet paper. Also has a lid for the pail (which I like) At first when you put the lid on, you think it's too big and doesn't fit. Just push down and it snaps into place.

I have suffered injuries which have left me frustrated with a long term recovery period. That means that some of the things that I used to love I have had to stop doing for a while. One of them is going to my off grid shed to enjoy some quiet time. By the time I realize I need to use the bathroom and leave to get to a bathroom in the house, using two canes, it is too late. I saw this and decided it was the perfect solution to my dilemma for now. ASSEMBLY This was not hard to assemble. It is pretty compact while still giving room enough to sit on it. COMFORT This is not hard to sit on. I find that it is good enough to use and sit on without feeling unsafe or unbalanced. The seat is comfortable and easy to use. I have my canes near by to help me get up just in case. I am a size 14-16 misses US and fit well on this commode. CLEANING The cleaning part is not easy for me, but it is still worth struggling with if it means I can use my shed. The bucket is covered and easy to take out where it can be emptied and cleaned. THE BOTTOM LINE I might not use this by the bedside, but for me it is a real big help in my shed. MY RATING FIVE STARS. I am so happy for this commode. It is easy to use despite my current limitations and allows me to have some independence while I heal from injuries.

I got this Bedside Commode Chair for my Disabled Son. Comes with directions that are not the best and took a few minutes to really figure out what went where. After that everything went pretty decent. Sturdy and durable Commode that I believe will hold the 350lbs like it says. The cushion is well padded for long sits. Does adjust for different heights. I just wish it had more of a backing to it. My Disabled Son pretty much stays in bed all day. He does use a toilet but he has trouble walking and usually collapses before walking to it, so I got this for his room so he doesn't have to walk so far. I had to put it up against a wall so he could lean back, so it wouldn't fall over. My Son has a tendency to lean to the side, so I do have to stay there with him so he doesn't fall over. But at least he doesn't have to walk all the way to the bathroom. Which is a relief for him and me, because I have to assist him with walking and usually by the time we get there his whole weight is dependent on me. I think the price is great for this. Definitely recommend it. Love that you can move it around too. Pretty lightweight but durable. Great for long term use or just a short time. Easy to clean but I have purchased liners to put into it for easy cleanup.
