Some gear fitness issues

OK cast, but the base plate could be an inch larger in diameter - the ram lands on the edge (see pic).There are some rack/pinion alignment issues - sometimes it drives down smooth, sometimes it jams. I tried to adjust the front bolts several ways, but cannot avoid.I did the "minus-two-teeth" upgrade to allow for handle adjustment at top of stroke (see pic).

Good little press

Perfect size for working at my desk. Sturdy little arbor press. Very versatile. Plan to use it for some leather working. Fits my tools pergectly. Came well packaged and arrived sooner than expected. Very happy with it.

Very happy, does the job, good value

Great value considering the price and sturdiness of this arbor press. As with most presses like this it is very easy to use.Fully adjustable rack and pinion for handle location. Also rack is easily adjustable for Freeplay. Unit comes factory adjusted but it's nice to be able to find tune everything.The included punches are a nice addition.You can spend $25.00 to $60.00 (US Dollar) more to get the same press with an additional handwheel on the left side. But on a smaller press I don't find it useful, and can actually get in the way when working on some projects.I'd purchase this again if needed. Does exactly what I needed it to do!

This is a functional piece of equipment. Works well and is exactly as advertised. If I wanted something to be used as a showpiece, would have gone elsewhere. What I wanted was a tool that is functional, robust and gets the job done which is exactly what this is. Great price, great product
