I first bought one that would work with canoe or kayak. You set the canoe/kayak on it, then strap it down. I can never get the straps tight enough, and they don't hold. So I finally bought one of these. It may not work for the canoe, but well worth it for the kayak. It is lightweight and easy to adjust the width for the holes on different kayaks. Breaks down quickly to store.

I have a wilderness kayak that is 70 pounds. These wheels are perfect to transport my kayak on the ground. When I get to the water, The wheels fit perfect into my kayak, just as the description states. I highly recommend them.

I have a sit on top kayak. The adjustable width rods go through holes built into kayak. If your kayak doesn’t have holes this won’t work. The kayak without this carrier is near impossible to carry or load into truck by yourself. With this carrier you can easily load and unload into a truck bed the transport to water by yourself. The build quality is excellent. It’s a great value and a back saver. Highly recommended.

easy to use and assemble

Love it for my kayak. Worked great after foam was removed. Getting to the river is alot easier and can flip over when floating down the river. So I have it to get off the beach.

Very easy to assemble and align, rolls smoothly and wheels are well made. The posts that go through scupper holes will not work with lifetime kayaks unless you cut off the protective foam layer that these carts are assembled with. Once you cut that material off, the posts will easily slide into the scupper holes, but you'll want to be extra careful on bumpy terrain because without the material, they are a bit loose fitting and the bumping around could crack the hull at the scupper hole seams if you aren't careful.

Husband wouldn't be able to drag his kayak through the marsh without this thing! Game changer for him definitely
