Looks great, works well.
Had for a month or so now and I really like it. Huge upgrade from my railroad track anvil, good hammer bounce. No casting defects to be seen on mine.

Perfect for a beginner or hobbyist.
Unbelievable good price for a steel anvil. I have been watching steel anvil prices and delivery fees for years. This anvil is by far the best deal I have ever encountered. Good rebound, good hardness, Hardy hole a little rough, location of Pritchel hole makes it useless as a hole punch, otherwise no complaints. This anvil is perfect for a beginner or hobbyist blacksmith or knife maker.

All and all it’s a good purchase. The casting is ruff and requires some clean up but I expected that after reading the reviews. It took me a half day to remove the blue paint and the filler. The anvil performs well under hammer and moves steel well. I would recommend the anvil and would purchase it again.

Solid
Overall a solid anvil. The paint on the horn definitely needed to be flapped off, as it was thickly applied which caused ridges. Not a big deal. For the price, it's hard to beat this anvil, although I do wish that it had a real pritchel hole

Not much to say about a basic tool like this. It's well made and has a nicely nachined, flat deck which only needed a slight bevelling of the edges. Lovely small anvil.

This anvil is working perfect for me. I am a novice at best, but I am learning and that is why I stated here. The price was in the range that makes it easy to afford. The anvil itself does not ring bad, but I am half deaf already. The only thing I wish was in at better position is the Pritcher hole, but works ok for my ability. Over all this is a great little anvil

It’s all I need….
I don’t plan on forging horse shoes anytime soon. Using it for auto patch panels and light fabrication. Works well enough to justify the purchase. No regrets…..

this thing is awesome.
the large working area and the weight adds a lot more stability.

I needed a horn!
The steel this is made of is quite soft. You will easily put deep marks into the surface and have to grind them out often. It's nice and compact for small sized forge space. You will want to take a grind to the horn to remove the powder coat. If you do not remove the coat before using with hot steel, the coat will burn off causing fumes you are not going to want to be dealing with unless in a well ventilated forge area.
