This is the quintessential Ridgid pipe vise we all cut our plumbing teeth on. No frills, bells or whistles, just heavy metal chains and gnarly teeth. Get one.

The item is great but they dropped it off at the wrong address… Then they left it by the highway than take it up to the house. Glad I was home and could rush over so no-one stopped to just pick it up…. All other packages over the last few weeks were delivered correctly.

Not as tall as I thought

Very good product locks in the pipe and holds it down. The adjustable legs is very good when closed that pipe stand could still stand up straight without falling over to the side a plus for that thank you very much for this product but it would be nice if the price was adjusted a little bit lower.

Great pipe vise

I bought a new work truck for my plumbing business and my old 406 tri-stand was just too big and heavy for my needs. I do mostly residential service and remodeling. I can pick this one up with one hand and transport it easily. I wanted to lighten the load and save space in the truck as well. I hated getting the 406 out and setting it up. This one is a pleasure. Will hold up to 2-1/2" pipe which is plenty for my needs. Has the the tool holder and is solid on a the ground. No cumbersome legs to chain together . One hand can fold it up with a grasp of the handle. Ridgid quality through-out.

Buy it, you won’t regret it. Light weight and very heavy duty.
