This worked as described. I was able to Lop off branches at full extension that were unreachable before. The overlapping fiberglass poles that interlock into the next section is a great design. I would have serious concerns with other sets that just screw into the next section via a metal threaded end. Is it heavy at full extension, yes, but I am a fit 62 year old, 6'1\" 195 lb male and was very successful using this tool. As other have mentioned some Fiberglass flakes came from the 4\" interior female ends. I solved this by spraying a clear protective coating into the female ends. Problem solved. Very glad I purchased this set.

The reach of this pole saw is impressive. I can't even use all the extensions because I'm not strong enough to support the pole at full length but even without all the extensions I was able to cut branches well above my trusty Fiskars pole saw. The blade is thin and doesn't cut that well. I'm hoping to retrofit a Fiskars blade and then this will be a near perfect pole saw.

This saw is incredible. Very sharp and long reach. When fully extended, it takes muscle to use but once you get it verticle, it is a breeze to use. It does have considerable flex in it at full extension but it seems very durable and slices through the bigger stuff.
